Therapy for Adults
Providers at Charis Foundation have training and experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental disorders in adults. Special interests include working with adults in coping with adjustment difficulties, anxiety, depression, divorce, gender-related difficulties, grief and loss, trauma, parent coaching and support, relationship issues, social skills training, spiritual concerns, split or merged family situations, stage of life transitions, stress-management, and trauma exposure.
We provide supportive and solution-focused individual, couple’s, and family therapies from a systems approach, helping individuals recognize patterns in their thoughts, feelings, behaviors and relationships that have developed as they have adapted to their unique backgrounds and
experiences.
We strive to create a safe and comfortable space for clients to openly share their thoughts, feelings, struggles, successes, hopes and fears. Our providers are respectful of individual, ethnic, and cultural differences and consider it a privilege to join adults at each stage of their personal journeys toward healing, growth, health and wellness.
